Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of human resources is a long and continuous process, must be started early, namely since humans are still in the womb. Data from the Papua Provincial Health Office shows that the nutritional status of under-fives in 2016 was 12,762 toddlers (20.3%), in 2017 it fell by 8,654 toddlers (15.3%) and in 2018 it became 9,485 toddlers. 934 (4.6%) under-five children were malnourished in 2019, and in 2020 3.44% (Papua Provincial Health Office Health Profile, 2022). To determine the relationship between food availability at the household level, parenting and access to health services on the nutritional status of toddlers aged 6-59 months at UPTD Nabarua Health Center, Central Papua Province. there was a correlation between food availability at the household level and the nutritional status of toddlers, obtained a p-value of 0.02 (p<0.05), no correlation between parenting style and nutritional status of toddlers, obtained a p-value of 0.87 (p>0.05) and no correlation between access to health services and And there was no correlation between access to health services and the nutritional status of toddlers, obtained a p-value of 0.91 (p>0.05). There is a relationship between food availability at the household level and the nutritional status of toddlers. There is no relationship between parenting and access to health services with the nutritional status of toddlers. Suggestion: Health workers routinely conduct balanced nutrition education and the selection of nutritious food, parenting, and utilization of optimal health services for children under five
