Abstract

The future of a nation lies in the hands of its young generation, including those under the age of five. Child growth is very useful for the development of intelligence starting from 0 to 5 years. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the history of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD), exclusive breastfeeding, Vitamin A, Complete Basic Immunization (IDL) and growth monitoring of toddlers at the nabire city health center in 2022. Research Methods: This research method was use qualitative methods. This research was conducted at UPTD Puskesmas Nabire Kota. The instrument used was a questionnaire for interviews. Results: The results of this study was the history of toddlers at UPTD Puskesmas Nabire Kota who did the IMD process when born in 2022 was 29 toddlers. The history of exclusive breastfeeding for toddlers is 25 toddlers. most of the toddlers as many as 390 people (50.8%) have received vitamin A in February and most of the babies as many as 488 people (63.6%) did not get vitamin A in August from 767 toddlers 6-59 months. Most of the toddlers who participated in routine weighing had good nutritional status, namely 94 people (77.1%). Based on 122 toddlers who routinely attended weighing, 30 toddlers had a history of IDL, namely 24.6% and 92 toddlers (75.4%) were incomplete. Furthermore, out of a total of 767 toddlers most of the toddlers as many as 611 people did not do routine weighing and incomplete IDL history. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study was that the achievement of IMD, exclusive breastfeeding, vitamin A, complete basic immunization (IDL), and monitoring of toddler growth in the UPTD Puskesmas Nabire Kota is still below the national target of 2022. Suggestions: Suggestions for health workers should be more active and always remind parents to routinely bring their children to the posyandu.
