Abstract

The toddler years are an important period in the child's growth and development process. Growth includes monitoring body weight and length or height to assess the nutritional status of toddlers. Nutritional status is the condition of the body due to food consumption and the use of nutrients that enter the body.Purpose: The aim of the research was to determine the nutritional status of toddlers aged 6-59 months in the UPTD work area of the Bumiwonorejo Community Health Center, Nabire Regency, Central Papua.Method: The research design used was a cross-sectional study. The research population was all toddlers aged 6-59 months who were in the Posyandu working area of Bumiwonorejo Health Center, Nabire Regency, totaling 124 people. The sample used was 59 toddlers. Data analysis used SPSS version 16.0 and used the Pearson correlation test.Results: The results of this study show significant results between LILA under five with z-score BB/U with a p-value of 0,00, according to z-score TB/U p-value 0,01, and according to z-score TB/U p-value 0,01. BB/TB score p-value 0,00. Conclusion: The conclusion of the research is that there is a significant relationship between toddler LILA and z-score BB/U, z-score TB/U, and z-score BB/TB in the UPTD work area of Bumiwonorejo Health Center, Nabire Regency, Central Papua which shows a p-value < 0,05.Suggestion: Suggestions from this research are that it is hoped that there will be better collaboration between health center health workers, cadres and PAUD teachers in assessing the nutritional status of toddlers so that toddlers who have nutritional problems can be quickly found and receive treatment immediately.
